Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate a team of salaried and hourly employees
• Lead large-scope projects with significant site and regional impact
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with support teams including Safety, Engineering, HR, and Quality Assurance to meet business objectives
• Maintain high levels of performance through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving

Requirements

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (or 2+ years of Amazon FTE experience)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Physical ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques
• Experience managing a team of 2+ salaried employees and 70+ indirect employees
• Experience implementing process improvements via Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
