Operations Leader

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Key Holder and trusted member of the leadership team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Open and close the store while following all cash handling, safety, and security protocols.
• Supervise store partners, providing guidance, direction, and support to maintain productivity and morale.
• Uphold animal care standards to ensure the health, safety, and proper handling of all animals.
• Execute merchandising standards, including planograms, pricing accuracy, and promotional set-ups.
• Assist with inventory activities such as restocking, cycle counts, and replenishment.
• Address customer questions and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Act as the primary point of contact in the absence of store management.

Requirements

• Previous retail experience required; key holder or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash and transactions.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
