Operations Leader

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Key Holder and trusted member of the leadership team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Supervise store partners, helping to maintain productivity, positive morale, and clear expectations.
• Open and close the store while strictly following all cash handling, safety, and security protocols.
• Uphold animal care standards to ensure the health, safety, and proper handling of all animals.
• Execute merchandising standards, including planograms, pricing accuracy, and promotional set-ups.
• Assist with inventory activities such as restocking, cycle counts, and maintaining inventory integrity.
• Address customer questions and resolve concerns promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional service.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the store in the absence of management.

Requirements

• Previous retail experience is required.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with cash handling and basic math skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise or animals weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a retail key holder or in a supervisory role.
