Operations Leader

Responsibilities

• Supervise store partners and provide guidance to maintain productivity and positive morale
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, including following all safety and security protocols
• Uphold animal care standards to ensure the health, safety, and proper handling of all animals
• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented service to customers
• Execute merchandising standards, including planograms, pricing accuracy, and promotional set-ups
• Assist with inventory activities such as restocking, cycle counts, and replenishment
• Process transactions, refunds, and exchanges accurately and efficiently
• Act as the primary point of contact for the store in the absence of management

Requirements

• Previous retail experience required
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience handling cash and performing retail transactions
• Basic math skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in proximity to animals and handle cleaning chemicals
• Flexible availability to support store hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
