Operations Leader

Responsibilities

• Supervise store partners and provide guidance and direction during assigned shifts
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security protocols
• Uphold animal care standards to ensure the health, safety, and proper handling of all animals
• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented service to customers
• Execute merchandising standards, including planograms, pricing accuracy, and promotional setups
• Assist with inventory activities such as restocking, cycle counts, and replenishment
• Act as the primary point of contact for the store in the absence of management
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Previous retail experience is required
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 pounds
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Basic math skills and experience with cash handling and transactions
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a key holder or in a supervisory role
