Operations Leader

Responsibilities

• Supervise store partners and serve as the primary point of contact in the absence of management
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security protocols
• Uphold animal care standards to ensure the health, safety, and proper handling of all animals
• Execute merchandising standards, including planograms, pricing accuracy, and promotional setups
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking, cycle counts, and replenishment
• Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving concerns and modeling selling behaviors

Requirements

• Previous retail experience required (key holder or supervisory experience preferred)
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in basic math and experience with cash handling and transactions
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods in a retail environment
• Flexible availability to support store hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
