Operations Leader

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Key Holder and trusted member of the leadership team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Open and close the store while following all cash handling, safety, and security protocols
• Supervise store partners, providing guidance, direction, and support to maintain productivity and morale
• Uphold animal care standards to ensure the health, safety, and proper handling of all animals
• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented service to customers
• Execute merchandising standards, including planograms, pricing accuracy, and promotional set-ups
• Assist with inventory activities such as restocking, cycle counts, and replenishment
• Act as the primary point of contact for the store in the absence of management

Requirements

• Previous retail experience required (key holder or supervisory experience preferred)
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience handling cash and processing transactions
• Basic math skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift and move merchandise or animals weighing up to 50 pounds
• Flexible availability to support store hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
