Operations Leader

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Key Holder and trusted member of the leadership team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Supervise store partners, assisting with training and maintaining positive team morale.
• Open and close the store while strictly following all cash handling, safety, and security protocols.
• Uphold animal care standards to ensure the health, safety, and proper handling of all pets.
• Manage merchandising standards, including planograms, pricing accuracy, and promotional setups.
• Oversee inventory activities such as restocking, cycle counts, and replenishment.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns promptly to deliver exceptional service.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the store in the absence of management.

Requirements

• Previous retail experience is required; key holder or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with cash handling and basic math skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Physical ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
