Operations Leader

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Key Holder and trusted member of the leadership team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Supervise store partners, assisting with training and maintaining positive morale
• Open and close the store following all cash handling, safety, and security protocols
• Uphold animal care standards to ensure the health, safety, and proper handling of all animals
• Execute merchandising standards, including planograms, pricing accuracy, and promotional setups
• Manage inventory activities such as restocking, cycle counts, and replenishment
• Address customer questions and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
• Act as the primary point of contact in the absence of store management

Requirements

• Previous retail experience required
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash and transactions
• Ability to lift and move merchandise, supplies, or animals weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends
