Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of courier and logistics services to ensure timely and accurate delivery of e-commerce packages
• Manage hub and warehouse operations, including inbound/outbound package handling, sorting, and dispatch
• Supervise last-mile delivery execution and optimize delivery routes for cost-efficiency and speed
• Draft SOPs and collaborate with the Tech team to define system requirements and improve user experience
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met
• Train and manage delivery associates, drivers, and operations support staff
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management highlighting operational KPIs
• Identify operational gaps and lead process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5–7 years of experience in courier or logistics operations, preferably within the e-commerce sector
• Proficiency with e-commerce platforms and integration processes
• Proven experience in route optimization, fleet management, and last-mile delivery
• Strong knowledge of local and regional logistics regulations
• Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
• Advanced proficiency in logistics management systems and tracking tools
