Operations Lead - Distribution and Logistics

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary local operational representative for Torus in Oregon
• Support facility setup, equipment installation, and operational readiness
• Develop warehouse layouts, material flow strategies, and standard operating procedures
• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, inventory, and shipping
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight and manage carrier relationships
• Manage company fleet assets including trucks, trailers, and forklifts
• Partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Procurement teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or operations
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to travel regularly to Utah during the startup phase
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate warehouse equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks on warehouse floors

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience launching or expanding warehouse/distribution operations
• Experience with fleet management and transportation coordination
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse best practices
• Forklift certification
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
• Supervisory or team leadership experience
