About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, best practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (e.g., cGMP, OSHA, and inventory reconciliation).
- Manage the productivity of the line and associates to meet promise-by times and operational benchmarks.
- Maintain a safe operations environment and ensure equipment is utilized according to manufacturer safety standards.
- Deploy labor, equipment, and systems effectively to achieve productivity requirements.
- Accurately report the consumption of resources, including labor, materials, inventory, and equipment.
- Manage day-to-day operations to maintain the accuracy of work-in-progress and standing inventories.
- Update paperwork and databases in real-time to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Assign individual tasks to associates and assess the quality and productivity of output on an ongoing basis.
- Provide timely input to status and exception reports to the Operations Supervisor for capacity planning.
Requirements
- High School Education or higher.
- One year of related supervisory experience or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- General warehouse or distribution skills.
- Basic to intermediate mathematical skills (counting, adding, multiplying, calculating line rates, etc.).
- Basic to intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 35 pounds occasionally.
