Operations Lead

Responsibilities

• Coordinate personnel, equipment, permits, and line lifts across Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan
• Dispatch drivers, distribute routing, schedule loads, and monitor required documentation
• Collaborate with maintenance to meet service requirements and update driver schedules
• Maintain purchase orders, service requests, permits, and compliance records
• Ensure all personnel follow safety protocols and government regulations
• Respond to customer requests and prepare pricing proposals and quotations
• Manage after-hours on-call duties on a rotating two-week cycle
• Coordinate safety orientations, training, and certifications for personnel
• Liaise with HS&E and Training to enhance transportation safety systems

Requirements

• Familiarity with oilfield hauling equipment and a proven client relations track record
• Understanding of dispatch functions
• Willingness to work after-hours on-call on a rotating two-week cycle
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Good communication and coordination with supervisory, field, and area personnel
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Office and Excel
• Self starter with sound professional judgment and problem-solving ability
• Reliable transportation required
