Operations Lead, Assessment

Responsibilities

• Own operations for in-person home data gathering, including scheduling, completion, and artifact quality for assessments and inspections.
• Build scalable operational systems, reporting, and root-cause loops to reduce defects and escalations.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with third-party vendors and their executive leadership to optimize performance and cost.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Pricing, and Home Renovations teams to drive systemic improvements to the seller journey.
• Use AI tools to automate manual processes, scale analysis, and monitor operational systems.
• Represent the seller experience by translating field signals into clear, scoped product requirements.

Requirements

• 3-7+ years of experience in operations or BizOps at a tech or tech-enabled company.
• Proven experience managing third-party vendor relationships or distributed field organizations.
• Strong systems thinking skills with experience building operational frameworks (SLAs, scorecards, escalation paths).
• AI proficiency with tools such as Claude, Gemini, or Cursor to drive efficiency.
• High product acumen with the ability to partner effectively with Product teams.
• Ability to work in-person at our downtown Toronto office four days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in marketplace dynamics or consumer-facing operations with physical touchpoints.
• Background in consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
• A "subtraction-default" mindset focused on simplifying processes and eliminating waste.
