Operations Generalist-L2

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor remittance operations workflows including pay-ins, payouts, KYC/RFI, refunds, disputes, and reconciliations.
• Use SQL and transaction-level data to investigate anomalies, identify root causes, and prepare detailed issue notes.
• Coordinate with banks, payment providers, and internal teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance, Finance) to resolve escalations.
• Maintain and improve operational runbooks, queue hygiene, and exception categories.
• Identify manual processes and help convert them into AI-assisted triage, automation, or product requirements.
• Support new corridor and partner launches by testing operational readiness and documenting learnings.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in fintech, payments, banking, or transaction-heavy operations.
• Working knowledge of payment operations: pay-ins, payouts, settlements, reconciliation, and dispute handling.
• Proficiency in SQL to query transaction data and validate dashboard signals.
• Comfort working with dashboards, spreadsheets, logs, and issue trackers.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cross-border payments.
• Experience using AI tools, no-code/low-code automation, or lightweight scripts to scale workflows.
