Operations Generalist

Responsibilities

• Provide real time support of US Equity trade activity
• Comply with T+1 settlement cycle mandates in accordance with SEC Rule 15c6-2
• Process trade bookings, allocations, and confirms
• Collaborate with trading desks and counterparties to resolve trade discrepancies
• Open client DVP/RVP accounts and maintain settlement instructions
• Resolve aged fails and unaffirmed trades with counterparties and custodians
• Assist in daily EOD procedures
• Escalate and resolve operational risks including Regulatory Notifications and Corporate Actions
• Oversee daily and monthly trade, positions, P&L, and commission reconciliations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2+ years of Middle/Back Office experience at a buy side or sell side financial institution
• Knowledge of DTCC ALERT/CTM and WorkX/ORF
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
