Operations Finance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of annual operating budgets and interim forecasts for the Operations function
• Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, overhead, scrap, rework, and material variances
• Prepare and explain monthly financial results, including actuals vs. budget/forecast
• Identify cost drivers, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and journal entries
• Assist in the preparation, tracking, and forecasting of capital expenditure (Capex) plans
• Review and validate ROI analyses and business cases for capital and operational projects
• Act as a Finance Business Partner to Operations and Business Unit leadership
• Validate and track cost savings programs, such as VAVE and productivity initiatives
• Perform revenue leakage analysis and support margin analysis by product or customer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 3–5 years of experience in Operations Finance, FP&A, or Manufacturing Finance
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational and financial data
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Oracle Alice preferred)
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and inventory management principles
• Excellent communication skills to explain financial results to non-financial stakeholders
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
