Operations Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the set-up and operation of wave solder machines, adjusting speed and temperature to accommodate various product types.
• Oversee assembly operations to ensure corporate KOI targets are met.
• Supervise production staff regarding work methods and quality checkpoints.
• Coordinate with other departments and Flex sites to drive operational excellence.
• Establish procurement, production, and engineering services policies and practices.
• Ensure strict adherence to ISO and safety standards.
• Report to the Senior Management team during weekly operations reviews.
• Coach and mentor the operations team and implement HR strategies to retain a motivated workforce.

Requirements

• BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Extensive experience with PCBA engineering process support, KOI reporting, and NPI support.
• Expertise in PTH soldering processes, including wave solder, selective solder, and selective profilers.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 PCBA Soldering standard criteria.
• Expertise in depanelization processes and adhesive dispensing equipment/processes.
• Strong structured problem-solving skills and experience with continuous improvement plans.
• Experience technically supervising engineers and technicians.
