Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on operational support for core IT and OT systems supporting refinery and supply chain operations
• Support and maintain critical platforms including process historians, refinery operations systems, and industrial applications
• Own incident response, troubleshooting, vendor engagement, and system availability
• Support network operations including switching, firewalls, segmentation, patching, and monitoring
• Act as a senior technical escalation point for incidents and problem management
• Provide on-site and on-call support to Control Room and operations teams
• Support IT/OT integration and secure connectivity in line with IEC 62443
• Maintain server, virtualization, and data centre environments using VMware
• Support refinery cyber security compliance and vulnerability remediation

Requirements

• Strong experience supporting enterprise and industrial IT infrastructure in critical environments
• Hands-on experience with networking, servers, virtualization, firewalls, and endpoint platforms
• Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments
• Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and stakeholder communication skills
• Familiarity with IT/OT integration and operating in safety-critical environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in refinery, oil & gas, utilities, or heavy industrial environments
• Exposure to OT systems, control networks, or industrial applications
• Relevant certifications in Cisco, VMware, Microsoft, or cyber security platforms
