Operations Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance for high-traffic cloud environments using PagerDuty
• Respond to alerts and troubleshoot issues in real time to maintain optimal uptime
• Use monitoring tools like InfluxDB and Graylog for log analysis and metrics review
• Work with DevOps teams to identify and close infrastructure gaps
• Coordinate with QA and Development teams to ensure smooth daily deployments
• Deploy patches, releases, and system changes using Jenkins
• Maintain and improve CI pipelines including build, test, and package processes
• Act proactively to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted service delivery

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform (IaC/Configuration Management)
• Knowledge of Linux OS for backend and system-level troubleshooting
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git
• Understanding of deployment pipelines and Agile environments
