About the role

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing basis of design (BoD) for plants and recommend new designs based on minimum functional objectives
  • Optimize run and maintain costs by recommending improved operating and maintenance strategies
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor real-time operational data from asset retirement plants and respond to anomalies
  • Leverage digital tools and technologies to improve data visibility and decision-making
  • Collaborate with field teams and contractors to coordinate responses to operational challenges
  • Ensure all monitored operations comply with safety regulations and environmental standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or relevant experience in lieu of a degree)
  • At least 5 years of experience in an operations supporting role within a manufacturing or oil & gas processing plant
  • Proven experience developing and implementing operating and maintenance strategies for an entire plant
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis tools and software
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to water treatment plants
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently
