About the role

About the Company

Blissway is a startup that simplifies toll collection and dramatically improves highway safety. We are multiple startups in one: Deep Tech, AI/ML, Hardware, SaaS, and IoT, building intelligent roadside technology that makes highways safer and smarter.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own Blissway's production inventory system including parts tracking, reorder thresholds, and BoM management
  • Manage procurement for components, assemblies, and tooling, including vendor sourcing and negotiation
  • Create and maintain manufacturing SOPs for technicians and production staff
  • Coordinate production runs, schedule builds, stage materials, and track throughput
  • Own quality documentation including incoming inspection, build records, and traceability
  • Work directly with engineers to understand design transitions and test requirements
  • Provide hands-on assistance in production, debugging failures, and validating new processes
  • Proactively identify and fix process gaps, inconsistencies, or manual inefficiencies

Requirements

  • Experience building or running production or inventory processes (manufacturing, assembly, or hardware operations)
  • Hands-on comfort with physical hardware and tools like multimeters
  • Strong process documentation skills for work instructions and build records
  • Experience in vendor, procurement, and inventory management
  • Background in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or operations management
  • Experience in manufacturing, PCB assembly, or hardware production environments
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions without a playbook

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic electronics understanding to read a BOM and communicate with electrical engineers
  • Experience scaling production from small-batch to medium-volume
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies
