About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the lifecycle of cross-functional projects to develop next-generation sortation and distribution solutions.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to set project priorities, establish milestones, and drive schedules.
  • Coordinate execution efforts for systems and automated equipment designs, including installation and safety qualifications.
  • Perform deep dives into system performance to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
  • Communicate project status, risk analysis, and mitigation plans clearly to leadership and management teams.
  • Manage change order controls, purchase orders, and invoice validation/approvals.
  • Travel up to 80% domestically to support site coordination and project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another STEM field.
  • 1+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Building Information Modeling (BIM).
  • Experience using scheduling software such as Primavera, MS Project, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in vendor management.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, or fulfillment and distribution center operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and technical documentation software like Visio, Word, or PowerPoint.
