Operations Director

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and enforce existing department policies and procedures
• Develop new procedures to support new contract project requirements
• Maintain a professional demeanor in time-critical or resource-challenged scenarios
• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers to obtain project information
• Identify project hurdles through review of conditions of approval, easement dedications, and fees
• Communicate designs to drafters and designers to produce construction documents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Valid, current Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of California
• Minimum of 10+ years of related experience
• Minimum of 5+ years of leadership experience managing groups of up to 15 people
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam
• Experience in civil design for commercial, public, institutional, and academic site development
