About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact, answering inquiries, phone calls, and greeting visitors
  • Maintain calendars and scheduling for organization-wide events
  • Oversee ordering, inventory, and restocking of supplies and promotional items
  • Coordinate building upkeep, repairs, and vendor management for facilities services
  • Manage facility rentals for outside groups, including contracts and event staffing
  • Maintain donor and alumni database entry, quality control, and timely data transfers
  • Manage the NC Hillel website and social media accounts
  • Prepare gift acknowledgements and assist with donor communications and marketing
  • Support analysis of student engagement and donor data for reporting
  • Staff Hillel programs and events, including evenings and weekends as needed

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience in an administrative, operations, or office manager role
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to develop systematic workflows
  • Strong time management skills with ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, and donor software (Little Green Light)
  • Impeccable discretion and appreciation of confidentiality
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
