About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact, answering inquiries, phone calls, and greeting visitors
- Maintain calendars and scheduling for organization-wide events
- Oversee ordering, inventory, and restocking of supplies and promotional items
- Coordinate building upkeep, repairs, and vendor management for facilities services
- Manage facility rentals for outside groups, including contracts and event staffing
- Maintain donor and alumni database entry, quality control, and timely data transfers
- Manage the NC Hillel website and social media accounts
- Prepare gift acknowledgements and assist with donor communications and marketing
- Support analysis of student engagement and donor data for reporting
- Staff Hillel programs and events, including evenings and weekends as needed
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience in an administrative, operations, or office manager role
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to develop systematic workflows
- Strong time management skills with ability to juggle competing priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel, and donor software (Little Green Light)
- Impeccable discretion and appreciation of confidentiality
- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
