Operations Department Manager

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all activities within the operations department for the 3rd shift manufacturing team
• Maintain the department's production schedule by analyzing product data, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates
• Oversee manufacturing processes, including engineering methods, quality systems, and safety requirements
• Analyze manufacturing capacity constraints and implement appropriate changes or recommendations
• Administer company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations to ensure full compliance
• Lead special projects and drive positive organizational change
• Manage personnel through effective delegation, planning, and interpersonal communication

Requirements

• 4+ years of management experience
• Proven knowledge and experience within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with computer systems and programs
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to motivate and influence others in a fast-paced setting
• Willingness to work the 3rd shift schedule (Monday - Thursday, 7:30pm to 6:00am)
• Ability to complete approximately 90 days of 1st shift training (Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm)
