About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development, coordination, and expansion of the Indigenous Cultural Safety (ICS) curriculum for health professional programs
  • Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure full functionality for learners
  • Coordinate the recruitment, vetting, and scheduling of program facilitators
  • Manage program budgets, process invoices, and maintain operational tracking systems
  • Create new operating systems and forecasting models to support program expansion to new learner groups
  • Develop promotional materials, social media content, and website updates using WordPress
  • Support research and evaluation efforts by coordinating feedback collection and compiling reports
  • Provide administrative support for community engagement meetings and working groups

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years of related professional experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in WordPress
  • Experience with educational programming or curriculum development
  • Experience managing budgets and processing invoices
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Indigenous health, Indigenous studies, or Indigenous Cultural Safety
  • Experience working with Indigenous people and communities following established engagement protocols
  • Experience facilitating or presenting educational content
  • Strong critical thinking, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience with Indigenous research and navigating web-based platforms
