Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor the safety and performance of contractors and company personnel to ensure efficient and effective work.
• Ensure all facilities and assets are installed and commissioned according to established designs, company standards, and diagnostic testing.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and construction groups to optimize scheduled work and outages.
• Prepare pre-job scopes, develop work packages, determine material requirements, and develop cost and T&E estimates.
• Participate in design and constructability reviews and document as-built drawings during construction.
• Coordinate material orders, equipment staging, jobsite readiness, and switching.
• Perform post-job audits and ensure proper jobsite cleanup and material accounting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transmission/distribution lines, substation, or project management.
• Technical knowledge of transmission and distribution line procedures, maintenance, and operations.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with related technology.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities under pressure.
• Ability to travel between 50% and 75%.
