Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Operations Manager with batch generation, spreadsheet maintenance, and inventory management
• Create and receive orders for raw materials, verifying product details, freight costs, and delivery dates
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Key Account Coordinators to ensure product codes, SDS, and COA information are updated
• Dispatch drivers and carriers to arrange pickups and deliveries, ensuring cost-effective transportation
• Operate forklifts and spotter trucks to load and unload trucks and rail cars
• Perform warehouse duties including working in elevated areas and connecting/disconnecting rail cars
• Communicate supply and demand issues to management to assist in timely resolution

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Two years of related experience and/or training
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed
