Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage live audio, outside broadcasts, and digital content production for ABC Northern Territory.
• Set up outside broadcasts and mix live shows for ABC Radio Darwin and Sport.
• Perform post-production audio polishing and cleaning up recordings.
• Partner with producers and content teams to provide technical advice and creative solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during live broadcasts.
• Support the wider production team to ensure content goes to air smoothly.

Requirements

• Proven audio engineering skills and high proficiency across a wide range of DAWs.
• Strong technical expertise in RF and IP-based technologies.
• Solid understanding of broadcast and online systems, including studio setups and digital platforms.
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with networked audio and new media tech.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm in fast-moving, live environments.
