Operations Controller

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the outbound schedule to ensure collection and delivery times are met
• Issue instructions to designated staff to maintain a smooth flow of inbound and outbound work
• Control paperwork for outbound vehicles with 100% accuracy
• Act as the initial point of contact for all drivers arriving on site
• Communicate issues to Shift Managers in a timely manner to minimise disruption
• Participate in the operations team to offer suggestions for efficiency and quality improvements
• Maintain communication with transport providers to avoid late collections and delivery failures
• Produce thorough handovers to the following shift

Requirements

• Proven experience within a similar fast-paced role
• Ability to prioritise work based on scheduling and resources
• PC literacy in Word, Excel, and Outlook
• High level of attention to detail
• Experience with Autostore and RF kit
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
