About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage outbound schedules to ensure collection and delivery times are met
- Issue instructions to staff to maintain inbound and outbound work flow
- Control paperwork for outbound vehicles with high accuracy
- Act as the initial point of contact for drivers arriving on site
- Communicate issues to Shift Managers to minimize schedule disruption
- Collaborate with the operations team to improve efficiency and quality
- Maintain communication with transport providers to avoid delivery failures
- Produce detailed handovers for following shifts
Requirements
- Proven experience in a fast-paced role
- Ability to prioritize work based on scheduling and resources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience with Autostore and RF kit
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
