About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor airplane fleets to provide real-time maintenance recommendations and technical troubleshooting for Boeing aircraft.
  • Identify and provide pre-emptive recommendations for emerging aircraft technical issues.
  • Use aircraft wiring diagrams and fault isolation manuals to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Collaborate with Service and Design engineering to analyze technical issues and develop in-service solutions.
  • Develop data analysis tools, methodologies, and technical training curriculum.
  • Write customer correspondence to ensure continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Create initial plans for on-site support to customer operations and provide technical briefings to management.
  • Work a non-standard schedule, including 7-on/7-off shifts, holidays, and weekends to support 24/7/365 operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an engineering discipline.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Willingness to work non-standard schedules (e.g., 7-on/7-off shifts) and travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
  • Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in airplane maintenance or airline customer support.
  • 4+ years of related work experience for experienced-level roles.
