Operations Business Unit Lead

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and perform changeovers and maintenance on automated and manual equipment, including mixers, fillers, seamers, and hydrostat sterilizers
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using root cause analysis and data-driven decision-making
• Monitor facility conditions to ensure consistent operational performance and product quality
• Use software and control panels to monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements for maintenance activities
• Participate in sanitation and upkeep of the process area
• Follow all safety and quality requirements to ensure a secure working environment
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and provide solutions to optimize manufacturing systems

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience, including direct experience interacting with HMI screens
• Proven technical proficiency in operating and monitoring industrial equipment
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs, and working in various temperature ranges
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including bending, crawling, and standing for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Certification, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in Food Safety environments
• Hands-on technical experience utilizing SAP software platforms
• Strong complex problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills
