Operations Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build automation, internal tools, scripts, integrations, and workflow systems to improve Customer Operations and Customer Delivery teams
• Partner with stakeholders to identify bottlenecks and prioritize high-impact automation opportunities
• Use APIs, scripting, and workflow automation tools to translate operational pain points into technical solutions
• Define and track success metrics such as time saved and process consistency
• Create reusable automation patterns to scale across the organization

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in software development, automation engineering, or technical operations
• Strong scripting skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Proficiency with SQL and APIs
• Ability to translate operational workflows into technical solutions
• Strong communication skills for working with non-technical stakeholders
• Practical engineering judgment regarding tool selection and robustness

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with workflow automation platforms like n8n, Zapier, Make, Retool, or Airplane
• Experience integrating with SaaS tools, data warehouses, or ticketing systems
• Experience using AI tools or LLMs to improve operational workflows
• Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment
