About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily operations for the Outreach and Engagement department in compliance with University policies.
- Manage enrollment management system data, including analyzing, reconciling, and exporting daily reports for the Bursar’s office.
- Oversee departmental budgets, tracking expenses, processing reimbursements, and managing procurement for supplies and services.
- Coordinate the employment process for departmental positions by liaising with Human Resources and various supervisors.
- Manage documentation for internal audit compliance, including contracts, grants, and budget justifications.
- Support program implementation by arranging meeting spaces, audio-visual equipment, and food services.
- Maintain program websites and design surveys or evaluations to gather partner and service data.
- Serve as the primary backup for the Database Administrator and Operations Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of business office or operations experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong database management skills for data retrieval, export, and reporting.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under limited supervision and manage multiple projects on tight deadlines.
- Valid driver's license for occasional local and regional travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent college coursework.
- Experience working within a higher education setting.
- Experience with enrollment databases.
- Experience using web content management systems (e.g., Umbraco) or survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics).
