About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a welcoming front-line representative for the school community
- Manage student information systems including PowerSchool, Infinite Campus, Compass, and ParentSquare
- Prepare and track compliance documentation for local, state, and federal requirements
- Process procurement requests and manage inventory
- Collect, track, and report attendance data and meal sheets
- Oversee the enrollment process and digital systems management
- Coordinate student transportation with the School District of Philadelphia and external vendors
- Manage family communication via ParentSquare using email, text, and calls
- Maintain organized and compliant student files and sensitive records
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or school office work
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience working with children and/or families in an educational or community setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous charter school experience
- Higher education degree
- Spanish fluency
