Operations Associate, Founder Catalyst (UK)

Responsibilities

• Proactively scout, research, and map early-stage startups and high-potential founders within the mobility ecosystem.
• Execute outbound sourcing strategies via LinkedIn, databases, and community networks to build a high-quality applicant pipeline.
• Manage the application funnel and monitor candidate tracking within internal systems.
• Coordinate program schedules, calendars, and logistics for the 10-week hybrid pre-accelerator.
• Support the onboarding of founders, mentors, speakers, and facilitators.
• Assist in identifying and scheduling program contributors and managing Demo Day logistics.
• Maintain accurate program documentation, participant records, and stakeholder databases.
• Provide administrative support to Program Managers and contribute to cross-functional global initiatives.

Requirements

• Based in the UK with flexibility to support European and US time zones.
• 1–3 years of experience in recruitment sourcing, talent acquisition, venture capital pipeline coordination, or program operations.
• Proven ability to proactively identify and engage talent or early-stage founders using outbound outreach techniques.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and CRM or tracking tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Airtable.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to pitch programs to external founders.
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in the mobility, cleantech, or sustainability sectors.
• Familiarity with European startup ecosystems.
• Experience coordinating events, mentors, or large-scale program logistics.
