About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for general enquiries
- Coordinate tasks for projects and strategic initiatives with stakeholders
- Promote departmental events and programs to students
- Determine logistical details and activities for events and programming
- Handle sensitive and confidential information
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of documents
- Edit content for brochures, newsletters, websites, and handbooks
- Maintain information on a website
Requirements
- Advanced College Diploma (3 years) or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of related administrative support experience
- Experience in a post-secondary environment preferred
- Experience serving as a first point of contact in a large, diverse environment
- Experience maintaining and updating website and social media information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with website management software, Drupal preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage confidential documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with room booking software such as EMS
