Operations Assistant - Air Cargo

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service by maintaining direct relationships with clients regarding their cargo.
• Request and monitor shipment status updates from airlines and warehouses.
• Manage and upload all documentation related to air freight shipments.
• Search for and validate air shipment references and transmit necessary information.
• Update estimated arrival (ATA) and departure (ATD) dates within the CargoWise system.
• Perform cost estimations using the CargoWise platform.
• Manage invoicing processes, including updating Talma invoice reports and requesting pending invoices from suppliers.
• Upload and approve electronic invoices in the corresponding systems (Centro CFDI).
• Execute transmissions for air shipments via Validacarga.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
• Proven experience handling air cargo documentation.
• Ability to manage shipment tracking and provide timely status updates.
• Proficiency in cost estimation and invoice management.
• Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
