Operations Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of maintenance operations within a designated area
• Supervise multiple crafts personnel performing planned, preventive, and emergency work
• Meet with clients regularly to determine maintenance needs and service requirements
• Instruct personnel on technical matters and prioritize routine repair work
• Evaluate and respond to emergency calls and complex technical problems
• Negotiate vendor commitments and oversee the work of external contractors
• Implement and evaluate preventive maintenance programs and prepare project reports
• Develop and implement procedures for cost-effective service delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in building systems, electrical, and mechanical operations
• Proven supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of building systems, electrical, and mechanical operations
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
