About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of maintenance operations within a designated area
- Supervise multiple crafts personnel performing planned, preventive, and emergency work
- Meet with clients regularly to determine maintenance needs and service requirements
- Instruct personnel on technical matters and prioritize routine repair work
- Evaluate and respond to emergency calls and complex technical problems
- Negotiate vendor commitments and oversee the work of external contractors
- Implement and evaluate preventive maintenance programs and prepare project reports
- Develop and implement procedures for cost-effective service delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in building systems, electrical, and mechanical operations
- Proven supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of building systems, electrical, and mechanical operations
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
