About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of installation plant and equipment on offshore assets
- Maximize and optimize production opportunities to achieve day-to-day targets
- Execute planned and corrective maintenance routines and investigate technical anomalies
- Demonstrate excellent safety leadership by implementing Shell’s Health and Safety expectations
- Act as a competent Isolation Owner and permit holder within a safe system of work
- Provide first-line emergency response duties in accordance with the Installation Station Bill
- Monitor and log asset status proactively and report defects using SAP
- Assist in the production of isolation packs, work permits, and work packs for maintenance tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience in safety leadership and maintaining high safety standards
- Competency as an Isolation Owner and experience as a permit holder
- Technical knowledge of instruments or experience in related technical trades
- Ability to provide emergency response capability in offshore environments
- Willingness to work on Normally Unmanned Installations (NUI) via walk-to-work vessels or flying squads
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Instrument Maintenance alongside Operations
- Previous experience as a Technical Custodian Instruments (TCI) or Control Room Operator (CRO)
- Proficiency with SAP for defect reporting and resource management
- Familiarity with P-Vision safe systems of work
