About the Company

Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive scale compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them with teams spanning hardware and software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a multi-disciplinary team of delivery and lifecycle engineers
  • Own technical support of sites under construction in partnership with Design Engineering
  • Lead the operational readiness and turnover process for new systems
  • Own the engineering scope for lifecycle work on live data center infrastructure
  • Chair the site Change Control Board (CCB) and approve technical changes
  • Serve as the senior technical escalation point for the Operations team
  • Ensure all engineering work complies with NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 8–10 years of experience in critical facilities engineering or mission-critical infrastructure
  • 2+ years in a team lead or people-management capacity
  • Experience with new-build delivery and engineering on live data center infrastructure
  • Proficiency in mechanical/cooling, electrical/power, and controls/BMS systems
  • Knowledge of BMS/EPMS platforms such as Ignition, Schneider EcoStruxure, or Tridium Niagara
  • Experience with formal change management (MOP/SOP/EOP review)
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% to live job sites and data centers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Tier III/IV data center or hyperscale environments
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Uptime Institute ATD/AOS credential
  • OSHA 30 General Industry certification
