Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform daily trading reconciliations and investigate trade breaks
• Manage monthly invoice reconciliation with exchanges and clearing firms
• Develop understanding of proprietary systems to resolve issues
• Liaise between clearing firms and traders regarding position and cash transfers
• Model, analyze, and optimize existing and new tools
• Leverage AI tools to enhance automation and streamline workflows
• Assist in developing analytical models for trading activities
• Partner with accounting and manage external vendor relationships

Requirements

• BS degree in a STEM-related field
• 2+ years of experience in financial services
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
• Solid understanding of traditional financial markets

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern AI tools or Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Proficiency in Python-based data libraries such as Pandas or NumPy
• Experience with SQL or SQL Server
