Operations Analyst, Digital Applications

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central coordination point for the digital applications portfolio, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-through across sector verticals and country missions.
• Design and maintain operational dashboards and tracking tools to provide visibility into portfolio status.
• Facilitate cross-sector coordination meetings, prepare agendas, and monitor the resolution of action items.
• Act as a liaison between the WKDAP unit and regional digital teams, technology partners, and private sector stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality progress reports, briefing materials, and partnership documentation for management and external partners.
• Provide operational support to the Applications Manager, including onboarding technical consultants and tracking vendor deliverables.
• Curate a knowledge base of lessons learned and support the drafting of case studies and operational notes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field (Public Policy, Business, Information Systems, Economics, etc.) with 2+ years of professional experience, OR a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience in project or program management.
• Proficiency in project management software or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Asana, or Monday.com).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and build productive stakeholder relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with the private sector on digital or technology-enabled initiatives in emerging markets.
• Familiarity with sectors such as agriculture, water, tourism, or health in the context of digital solutions.
• Experience in a multilateral development organization, government, or international development context.
• Working knowledge of French, Spanish, or other major languages used in World Bank client countries.
• Experience supporting external partnership development and co-financing documentation.
