Operations Analyst

Cumberland is the cryptoasset arm of DRW, established in 2014. Today, Cumberland is a global leader in cryptoassets, uniquely positioned between the traditional financial markets and the cryptoasset ecosystem, providing 24-hour access to a wide array of cryptoassets.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for cryptoasset trading business, focusing on reconciliation and post-trade settlement
• Monitor pending settlements and liaise with counterparties and exchanges to reduce risk
• Collaborate with internal cash management teams to maintain optimal cash reserves
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, technology upgrades, and automation
• Utilize Excel, VBA, or Python to automate processes and analyze large data sets
• Respond to counterparty inquiries and requests for settlement information

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Prior settlements and/or trading reconciliation experience
• Proficiency in Excel (VBA experience preferred)
• Experience with money transfers, wires, and banking platforms
• Solid understanding of financial product clearing and settlement processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to provide support in off hours for 24/7 operational continuity
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Cryptoassets
• Experience with programming languages for automation and process improvement
