Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Analytics & Operations Team in developing strategic performance management methods through data sourcing, advanced analytics, and visualization
• Assist in data sourcing, retrieval, cleansing, and referential administration to ensure forecasting capabilities
• Analyze and assemble complex datasets using SQL databases and Business Intelligence tools like Tableau and Alteryx
• Design, develop, and release dashboards, applications, and reports to support engineering cost, schedule, and quality targets
• Investigate new methodological approaches and data integration techniques to improve forecasting and predictive analytics
• Communicate and defend analytical results to various audiences and provide training to end users on business analytics toolsets

Requirements

• Must be currently located in the Wichita, KS metro area
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 0-2 years of experience in data analytics and visual management projects
• Proficiency in data visualization tools, specifically Tableau, and data blending/transformation tools like Alteryx
• Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle)
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages, including Python, .NET, C++, Java, CSS, or HTML
• Strong math and statistics skills, including descriptive statistics, statistical modeling, and optimization
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
