Operational Training Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance simulation exercises, databases, and related documentation to ensure conformance to standards.
• Support the delivery of simulation training activities, including pseudo pilot positions and voice recognition simulation.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in simulation delivery and determine impacts on procedures, systems, and technology.
• Implement changes to region-specific courseware due to updates in operational directives, airspace structure, or new technology.
• Coordinate and distribute data files required by simulators and troubleshoot simulation tool issues.
• Train stakeholders on the operation of simulation tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Successful completion of secondary school.
• Experience working in a professional, collaborative, and learner-focused team environment.
• Proficiency in using technical systems to complete work tasks.
• Knowledge of aircraft operating characteristics and pilot behaviors.
• Knowledge of airspace organization and structure.
• Proficiency with SharePoint, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams), and Workday.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with multi-disciplinary project implementation teams.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and processes.
