Operational Training Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance simulation exercises, databases, and related documentation to ensure standardization
• Support the delivery of simulation training activities, including pseudo pilot positions and voice recognition support
• Identify and implement changes to region-specific courseware due to updates in operational directives or technology
• Troubleshoot simulation tool issues and coordinate with higher-level support as necessary
• Train stakeholders on the operation of simulation tools and equipment
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving simulation delivery effectiveness

Requirements

• Successful completion of secondary school
• Experience working in a professional, collaborative, and learner-focused environment
• Experience using technical systems to complete work tasks
• Knowledge of aircraft operating characteristics and pilot behaviors
• Knowledge of airspace organization
• Bilingualism in English and French is required
