Operational Training Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance simulation exercises, databases, and related documentation to ensure standardization.
• Support the delivery of simulation training activities, including pseudo pilot positions and voice recognition simulation.
• Identify and implement changes to region-specific courseware due to updates in operational directives, airspace structure, or technology.
• Troubleshoot simulation tool issues and coordinate with higher-level support when necessary.
• Train stakeholders on the operation of simulation tools and equipment.
• Coordinate and distribute data files required by simulators at the local training unit.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving simulation delivery effectiveness.

Requirements

• Successful completion of secondary school.
• Experience working in a professional, collaborative team environment.
• Experience using technical systems to complete work tasks.
• Experience working in a learner-focused environment.
• Knowledge of aircraft operating characteristics and pilot behaviors.
• Knowledge of airspace organization.
• Proficiency in SharePoint, Workday, Teams, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
