About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance simulation exercises, databases, and related documentation to ensure standardization.
- Support the delivery of simulation training activities, including pseudo pilot positions and voice recognition simulation.
- Identify and implement changes to region-specific courseware due to updates in operational directives, airspace structure, or technology.
- Troubleshoot simulation tool issues and coordinate with higher-level support when necessary.
- Train stakeholders on the operation of simulation tools and equipment.
- Coordinate and distribute data files required by simulators at the local training unit.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving simulation delivery effectiveness.
Requirements
- Successful completion of secondary school.
- Experience working in a professional, collaborative team environment.
- Experience using technical systems to complete work tasks.
- Experience working in a learner-focused environment.
- Knowledge of aircraft operating characteristics and pilot behaviors.
- Knowledge of airspace organization.
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Workday, Teams, and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
